Could you be the next winner of the Biochemical Engineering Journal Young Investigator Award?
Each year, Biochemical Engineering Journal strives to recognize outstanding excellence in biochemical engineering research and practice by a young community member.
The winner of the 2017 Young Investigator Award will present a keynote lecture at this year’s Biochemical and Molecular Engineering XX conference in Newport Beach, CA, USA from July 16 - 20.
To be eligible for the Young Investigator Award, nominees must have submitted an abstract for a poster or oral presentation before the Biochemical and Molecular Engineering XX conference deadlines.

What’s in it for you?
In additional to the 2,500 U.S. Dollars cash prize, all winners of the Biochemical Engineering Journal Young Investigator Award are also invited to compose a review article for Biochemical Engineering Journal.

Are you eligible?
Nominees from all world regions will be considered but all nominees must:
Be less 41 years of age on March 31, 2017.
Have submitted an abstract to the Biochemical and Molecular Engineering XX conference and commit to attending the meeting.
Nominations must include the following:
Nominee’s curriculum vitae, including date of birth
Statement of up to two pages describing the nominee’s accomplishments and impact in the field of biochemical engineering A copy of the abstract submitted for oral or poster presentation at the Biochemical and Molecular Engineering XX conference
Up to two published works by the candidate
The above items should be sent by the nominee as a single pdf file to the BEJ Publisher, Dr. Angela Welch,
Up to two letters of support
The letters of support should be sent directly to the BEJ Publisher, Dr. Angela Welch, firstname.lastname@example.org, preferably as electronic files.
All nominations must be received by March 31, 2017.
